Garden Paintings are an ongoing series that began in 2013 where I repurpose found canvases into functional gardens. The owner of the gardens are responsible for finding a location and watering the paintings regularly. The surfaces are intended to never be seen, and the paintings are meant to decay into the earth.

Garden Paintings are an act of regeneration and resilience within a history of  visual objectification in art.
